Foster Application What brought you to want to foster? This is an opportunity to express what it means to you :)
*
Have you fostered cats before? If yes, what experience do you have already? If no, simply state no experience. *
What is your foster preference? (Example - kittens, bottle babies, mom and babies, teens, adults, special needs, fearful needing help, etc.) Please answer as many preferences that apply to you. If you have no preference, then state that you are open to any. *
Do you rent or own your home? If you rent, do you have permission to bring in animals to foster? We need to verify, please add landlord name and phone number. This saves a lot of issues before they surface. If you have a reason we should not contact the homeowner/landlord, please explain. If you own your home, then simply state home owner. *
Do you have other pets in your home now? If yes, please name your pets, their breed, and describe their exposure to other pets, especially cats. How is their personality and energy levels? If no, simply state no other pets in home. *
Do you have any children in your home? If yes, state names and ages. Describe their personality and how they feel about pets. If no, simply state no children. Fostering can be an awesome experience for young people and is a great way for them to learn. *
Do you have a separate room for the foster kitties? If yes, what room (bedroom, bathroom, screened porch, etc)? If no, describe the space you have and if you need accommodations, like cages or kennels. *
Do you need any supplies (litter box, litter, scratching posts, etc)? We are set to provide all the supplies you will need; please list anything you may know you will need, or if you have supplies on hand, please list them. You will be getting food and some things to go with our fosters depending on what you may already have available or need for sure. *
Is everyone in the home in agreement with this foster arrangement? If you have family, roommates, or similar, they need to be in agreement so there is no conflict that puts the cats in danger. This applies to any person living in the household. *

Do you have any future plans to move, or how long can you commit without this becoming a burden. Please explain the terms you are willing to offer based on the time you are willing to offer. (Example, two weeks, a month, as long as it takes, repeat fostering with breaks in between, foster once and decide later). We try to keep any fosters in the foster home until adopted.
